Acamprosate Titration Protocol

- Start with Acamprosate 333mg 1 tab at bedtime for 3 days
- Then 1 tab BID for 4 days
- Then 1 tab every AM and 2 tabs at bedtime for 7 days
- Then 1 tab every AM and 3 tabs at bedtime
F/U with pt
If pt tolerating medication well in the next 2 weeks increase Acamprosate to the full dose of 1998mg with 666mg every AM and 1332mg at bedtime or 999mg BID.
